Kuen Tang, known as The Mighty Kuen, is the first quadriplegic comic book letterer in the world to work for DC comics. Currently, she letterers for many interesting and independent projects including a few all women collaboration books, artistic poetry books, unlikely super heroes as well as motion comics. By day, she works in an engineering firm, as well as being a motivational speaker and graphic designer. On weekends, she turns into a Murderball player, adventure seeker and painter. By night, she either letter comic book projects or fight the evil villain called Inaccessibility Andbias by creating comic strips that deal with disability issues. More Info
My Hobbies wood working, cooking, gardening, planing crazy adventures where no quadriplegics have gone before.
My inspirations @ people: my grandfather whom had a big heart for other people and Rick Hansen who did the impossible.
My message for this community My motto is "don't let my disability scare you, let my ability impress you". We maybe be worse off than some but we are better off than many, let's do our part to support, encourage and inspire other to go beyond their circumstance. That is why in Sept 2016, I will become the first quadriplegic in the world to wheel on the great wall of China.
My creative work
Dream of China in 2016: " I appeared on a Chinese TV show called Dream of China in 2016. This is reality TV show were people vote to have your dream/wished granted. I received one of the highest vote and had my wish granted: to translate my disability articles and exercise/empowerment videos into the Chinese language and made available to the public, to support, encourage and empower over 90 million Chinese persons with disability."
