Alice Jordan

My name is Alice Jordan I am 16 years old and attend a special school in Easington. I was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 11. I love singing, drawing and yoga. I am a vegetarian because I am against animal cruelty. My passion is singing. I used to take part in Holiday talent shows and Karaoke events. Recorded my own original song with Steve Metcalfe called "You won't Hurt Me Anymore" which was featured on Give us a Break, Anti-bullying week 17th-21st November 2014 on Anna Kenedy online. I also have sang at this Years 2015 Willowman Festival in Thirsk opening the Acoustic stage, for Durham County Carers and If U care Share Foundation. More Info


My Hobbies Singing at Charity events. I have sung for Anna Kenedy OBE at Autism's Got Talent 2014 at the Mermaid Theatre in London. Autism Show in Manchester and Disability Rocks in Leicester and Ilkley. I also sing for Red Dreams a Charity in Hartlepool and have recently recorded a song on their Christmas CD called the Magic of Christmas. It is "Santa Baby." track 7. I did my works experience there and have made lots of new friends.

My inspirations People who stand out from the crowd and who are unique. To be the best person I can be. Promote equality and inclusion within society, be it people or animals who don't have a voice.

My message for this community Obsessions can be positive and life changing. Nurture what you are good at. Take pride in who you are and surround yourself with like minded people.
