Brom Wikstrom

Born 1953 Seattle. Apprentice to father Robert in his commercial art service. Two years of college art courses in Seattle. Travels took him to New Orleans where he sustained a spinal cord injury while swimming at 21 years old. After rehabilitation he taught himself to paint by mouth and developed an art program at a local children's hospital. Accepted to Assoc. of Mouth & Foot Painters and served as delegate to conventions around the world. Past President of Very Special Arts WA and Puget Sound Group of Northwest Artists. Named to WA ST Arts Commission 2007-2013. Gallery director of Wikstrom Bros. Gallery and receptionist at Burke Natural History Museum, U of WA. Fellowship to Vermont Studio Center 2015. More Info
