Making a difference in the community for people with disabilities We are here to assist anyone with a disability to get out in the mountains, have fun and enjoy the freedom of being on the snow. Our experienced team aim to provide whatever you might need to be part of our breath-taking alpine environment here in Zermatt.
Inspiration behind Summit Ski & Snowboard School The Programme was set up by Ski Instructor and British Association of Snowsports Instructor Trainer, Ashley Morton. Ashley was inspired to work in the world of adaptive snowsports after skiing with his brother, Laurie, who has Down’s Syndrome. He worked in Adaptive Ski Schools across Europe and in New Zealand and after moving to and falling in love with Zermatt, he decided to set up a programme here as part of Summit Ski School. We now have a team of instructors who are motivated pass on their love for skiing to anyone, regardless of their disability.

Who can benefit from Summit Ski & Snowboard School The program works to ensure there is virtually no limit as to who can participate in snow sports. With the right equipment and instruction anyone can enjoy the thrill of the mountains regardless of their disability.
We have the experience and equipment to enable clients to get on the snow and learn to ski, whether you have a physical disability, a learning difficulty, a sensory need, or just require a different or more specialist approach to learning.
