How and when did you get the idea to start your business “Seanese”? Which day-to-day responsibilities do you manage for this business?S: I was writing my new keynote speech and in it I say “It Could Happen,” and “That’s What Faith Can Do,” over and over again so when I was done I told my mom I need Shirts, Mugs and Bags too.
Every saying is my idea, I tell the graphic artist what I want the shirt to say and what it should look like. I wear the shirts for the photos on the website and do videos and post a lot on social media to advertise the shirts.

What is the process of coming up with a phrase/design for T-shirts? Which design/phrase do you like the most and why?S: They come into my head. And sometimes a lot of them come into my head, and sometimes I get help from friends. The “Born to” shirts started with my idea to do “Born Fearless.” Then I was hanging out with some friends and they said, “Born to Change the World,” and “Born to Be Me,” and when we were done there was more than 30 different ones! Then my mom has a group of people that she sends a big list to and has them vote. There’s 26 different ones that ended up being the favorite ones.
All of them because it’s my business.

How was your experience at the A&E Television show "Born This Way”? What was your favorite moment of being part of this show?S: Awesome. I love it so much. Everyone is so nice. I’m not a ladies man any more, I’m taken. I can flirt a little bit but not too much but I’m still taken.
Everything. I can’t choose one.

What challenges did you face during your growing years? What role did your family play in helping you face those challenges?S: Talking was very hard for me. A lot of people couldn’t understand what I was saying all the time. I had to work really, really, really hard to make sure my speech got better so I could be ready to be on TV when my chance came.
I asked my mom to help me and she repeated words a lot and told me how to say words better and even made them into smaller pieces first. Sometimes I have to hear a word like 100 times before I get it right because I have Apraxia.

What are your other hobbies?S: I love sports. I play golf, I go to Angels games, I love to bowl. My girlfriend and me go on dates all the time and we love Disneyland.

What is your favorite place to visit? What do you like about that place?S: The beach. It cools me down. I can take my shirt off there. I like to boogie board, and the sun feels good.

What do you like to do when you are with your family/friends?S: Hang out, laugh. Go to the beach, movies, Disneyland. Stuff like that.

What tips/advice do you have for those in our community who want to start a business?S: Get a good idea. Ask your parents to help you. If they don’t know how tell them to ask their friends. That’s what my mom did. Don’t give up because IT Could Happen!

Any special message for our community?S: Never give up on your dreams. It sometimes takes a long time, but don’t give up. Do things to get ready, like if you want to be on Tv take acting class, go to a theatre group, speak more clearly and it could happen and when you don’t give up and then when it happens That’s What Faith Can Do!
