How did you get motivated to start your own cooking show with a sprinkle of comedy? What was the response when you were entertaining as well as showing them how to cook?C: Food and comedy are 2 of my favorite things so I thought, why not combine them and make a show. People think my show is cool. They like food and comedy like me.

Can you tell us about your experience at Autism Speaks to Los Angeles Celebrity Chef Gala? How long did it take you to bake hundreds of blue frosted cookies for guests at the gala? Did you feel special when you were introduced by Conan O'Brien?C: The Autism Speaks Celebrity Chef gala was a wonderful event! I felt so honored to be invited and be in the same room with so many amazing chefs! Working with Chef Nick Shipp was the best. It took me about a week to make all of the Salted Blue Wave Cookies. We made all of the chocolate and dough and froze it. That took 4 or 5 days. Then a few days before the event, we baked them and packaged them. Being introduced by Conan O’Brien unbelievable! I was so nervous but when I got on stage, it all went away. Conan was really cool!

Which is the funniest episode from your cooking show? Have you received any cooking tips from guest chefs? If yes, what is the best tip you got so far?C: I think the funniest episodes I’ve done are the cave man and the Halloween episode. I’ve learned something from all of the guests on my show. I learned from Roy Choi, that keeping your kitchen clean is important and you should always have a dish towel on your apron. It’s like a sword, he said. You can use it to clean up messes or use it as a pot holder.

who is your favorite celebrity chef and why? Did he/she come to your cooking show yet?C: I have lots of favorite chefs. Some of them have been on my show and some of them haven’t yet. I still want Bobby Flay and Giada to be on my show.

What is your favorite dish from your show and why?C: I like some of my original recipes, like my peanut butter cup pound cake and my meatzilla pizza.

Who taught you how to cook? How long did it take you to learn? Which cuisine is your favorite?C: I’ve had lots of teachers. My mom started working with me and then my Aunt Margaret and other chefs. Right now, I’m working with Chef Nick Shipp at his restaurant in Santa Monica called The Upper West. I go in once a week and he teaches me and lets me help out. I’m still a kid so pizza is still at the top of my list. Especially New York style pizza.

What are your other hobbies?C: Typical kid’s stuff, like playing video games, watching movies, hanging with my cousins and friends. I also love to travel and learn about other people, places, and cultures. Swimming is my favorite sport so I swim a lot and go to classes. I also like playing basketball for fun, with my cousins and friends.

What do you like to do with your friends?C: I like joking around with my friends. We also like to talk about the future, like where we are going to live and what we are going to be doing. We also like to play basketball, card games, watch movies and of course eat.

What is your favorite place to visit?C: My favorite place to visit is New York. That’s my future home. I love that city.
