Talented young actor with Tics/Tourette’s and OCD steps into movies after joining drama group
Anthony’s struggles were increasing over the years since he had started attending school including getting into trouble for not paying attention and getting bullied and had low self-esteem. His situation could have gotten worse were it not for his mother Jane, who took a decisive action after Anthony was diagnosed with Tics/Tourette’s and OCD. She decided to home school Anthony and slowly started introducing him to various home educated groups. This new encouraging environment helped Anthony become confident and ultimately happier. Jane introduced Anthony to a drama group which he initially didn’t feel like joining but later agreed to try it out. He took to it like fish to water. Anthony found his new passion in the drama group. Eventually, his passion and hard work and his mother’s pivotal decision and efforts gave him a chance which one can only dream of. He got a major acting role in the Autism drama, ‘Twin brothers world apart’. This experience gave him a wonderful start and boosted his self-esteem. Since then he has been cast in many different projects and in May, 2017 he landed another main role playing a non-verbal child in an awareness short film.
