Can you tell us how and when did you start taking interest in photography?L: I think I was about 4 or 5 years old when I bought my first camera. My great uncle had given me some money for Christmas, so I decided to buy a film camera - a The Simpsons film camera to be precise.
What is the favorite object you love to capture and why?L: I love to capture a wide range of things. I have always loved to capture scenes, nice views, flowers, animals, buildings etc. But more recently i have found a real love for photographing people.
Which human emotion do you like to capture?L: I love capturing the pride and strength within someone, when you can see it in their eyes - but they don't necessarily know that they have that inner pride and strength.
What is your favorite photograph so far and why?L: Choosing my favourite photograph is hard, as I'm very self-critical about my work, so my opinion changes each time I look at my photos. Currently, my favourite photo is a photo I took when I was in Barcelona, Spain. Its of a tourist taking a selfie with a popular landmark. (see attached photo)
Which photographer influenced you the most? Which of his/her work do you like the most?L: I am inspired and influenced by so many photographers both professional and amateur Instagram accounts. However, I think that it is my photography teachers who have influenced me the most, because they have given me constructive advice as well as giving me the confidence and tools to create great images.
What are your other hobbies?L: I love listening to music, singing, relaxing, swimming and spending time with family and friends.
Who is your inspiration?L: My inspiration is anyone who is able to be positive in a bad situation. Anyone who uses something that has happened to them, to help others and do something meaningful.
>What do you want to accomplish in next 10 years?L: I want to br working in the Photography industry, creating work that makes people stop, look and think. I also want to be happy and healthy.
What is your favorite place to visit and why?L: Spain is my favourite place to visit because its so peaceful.
Any special message for our community?L: In life, do whatever will make you happy. Don't make yourself unhappy by stressing over things that don't matter. Be unique, I spent too long trying to make myself blend in but now I've learnt to embrace being the individual that I am.
