How did human beings evolve as the superior race on planet Earth? There is no doubt that our superiority did not come to us as a heritage. It is most probably by following the right evolutionary path. It is due to our curiosity, intelligence and most importantly our different points of view. Different points of view allow us to approach situations from different directions and eventually lead to our progress. D.J. Svoboda is promoting and emphasizing a similar thought. He believes people with autism are gifted and talented viewing the world from a different point of view and want to make a meaningful difference through acceptance and inclusion. He has nicely portrayed his viewpoint via the powerful and universal tool of art by pioneering an imaginary world (Imagiville) and friends (Imagifriends) who know how to care, love and be kind. No bullying, violence, cruel humor, or meanness is allowed inside this imaginary world. Let us ripple the same positivity and pledge to recreate our world similar to Imagiville. Can you tell us more about “My Imagiville”? How did you get the idea to create Imagiville?D: My Imagiville is the Name of The Very first Book of The Imagifriends and My Imagiville was also Created to help spread Autism Awareness and Acceptance and to help the Whole world to see that Autism to be be Understood and Accepted,Because all children and teens and adults with Autism have feelings too and they want to be loved and accepted for who they are and they too have Big Dreams that they want to Accomplish and see come true too AND they too have Great Gifts and Talents that they too can use to make a Great and Incredible Difference and to also make the World an even better place.
The Idea to Create The Imagifriends and Imagiville are all based on The Different Challenges that I have faced Growing up with Autism and Different Disabilities and based on a Big Dream in my Heart to make the World an even better place for all those with Autism Around the World.

How many Imagifriends are in Imagiville? Which one is your favorite and why? Which Imagifirend do you identify with?D: Including some of the Very 1st ever Imagifriends created there are about over 3000 different Imagifriends. All of the Imagifriends are like Children to me and I sure do Love Every Single One of them and they too are like Family to me, I love them all very much because of the Great and Amazing Lessons that they teach and that they are very determined to spread to help the World to know more about Autism,Even about lessons like Dream Big,Friendship,Kindness,Believing in Yourself,Lending a Helping Hand,Acceptance,Determination and the list sure does go on.
I do believe that The Imagifriend that I identify with is The Mupperezmo. He is the Leader and Mickey Mouse and Mascot of Our Mission and The Imagifriends of Imagiville. He teaches that all those with Autism Think and Feel and See Things and The world and Life much more differently and from a very different point of view,which is why He turns His Head Upside Down,to see things much more Differently and from a very Different point of view.
That is one of the Biggest things that I really want others to understand,That I see and think and feel things and the World and life from a Very Different point of view.

What kind of message do you want to convey via your Imagifirends? How is the real world different from your Imagiville? If you wish to change anything in the real world, what would you like to change and why?D: The Message I want to convey with The Imagifriends is that all those with Autism and Everyone are very very special the way they are and that it is always very important to accept others for who they are,The Inside of a Person is what really matters the very most and that it is very important to listen to one another and that everyone likes and loves different things and it is important to treat others the way you want to be treated and that we can all work together as a great team and we can all help big big dreams come true and that No Great and Amazing and Awesome and Very Fantastic Thing is ever Impossible.
Imagiville is different from the real World because there is NO Bullying and NO teasing and NO being made fun of and NO Violence and No being mean to anybody. There is a lot of Great care and love and kindness in Imagiville,Everyone is accepted and Welcome for who and as they are,there is NO bullying,Violent,Cruel Humor,There is always lots of Inspiration and Kindness and Teamwork and everyone helps each other and everyone encourages on another and no one uses any Violence or Anger as an answer to solving a Problem,There is No Prejudice and No Racism,Everybody gets treated with a lot of Love and Care and Respect,There is also a lot of Encouragement to NEVER give up on your Big Big Dreams.
The Biggest change I want to make is to not only make the World an even better place for all those with Autism,but to also help the world to see and understand and realize that Autism is to be accepted and understood and that all those with Autism want to be loved and Accepted,But also I want to show everyone that The World and Life Never have the Final say because all great and Amazing and Awesome and Very Incredible Things are possible Every single day Big Big Dreams can and do come true and with Great Teamwork Big Big Dreams can and do come true and that it is very very important to never have Doubt or Negativity or Fear or worry because Fear and Worry and Doubt and Negativity are just lies that try to keep getting in our way and try to make us think that Big Big Dreams can't come true,BECAUSE THEY CAN!! It just takes great effort and determination and Great dedication and the choice to Never Give Up and to Never quit when you are very determined to make a Very Powerful Difference.

Can you tell us more about your other projects? Which project is closest to your heart and why?D: There are sure a lot of Great Projects that are now in the Works. A Brand New Imagifriends Alphabet is now in progress,A New Coloring Book for Teens and Adults with pages of different Imagifriends filled with lots of patters and designs is now in the works,We are searching for the Right people to help us get the Imagifriends animated,I am sure believing to have a Dream store happen and an Imagifriends Autism Center and an Imagifriends Autism school and I also have a Very Big Dream to start a Autism Foundation, I now do Imagifriends Puzzle Pieces,which are made of wood and painted with a lot of Different colors because The Puzzle Piece is a Great Symbol for Autism,My Mom Miss Cindi will soon have a new Book ready that she has been working on and we are still in progress of getting our Mission and The Imagifriends more and more known out there into the world.
The Project that is most closest to me is The Great Project of getting our Mission and The Imagifriends more and more known out there into the World more than ever before because it is high time for the World to know and to understand more about Autism than ever before.

What are your other hobbies?D: My Other Hobbies are Cooking,Bowling,Playing Mini Golf, Collecting different Toys and Games and DVDS,spending time with Family and Friends,walking outside on nice sunny cool days,doodling and sketching,playing my Nintendo wii and Nintendo 3DS and listening to music and looking at different Children's books for more Inspiration and ideas.

Who is your favorite celebrity and why?D: I must say that my Favorite Celebrities are The Late Dr.Seuss and Jim Henson and Walt Disney,They still inspire me greatly because they have done many Amazing and Awesome Things and they have shown that Big Big Dreams can and do come true and that You can do Great and Amazing and Awesome Things.

Jim Henson said-Life's like a Movie,Write your own ending,Keep Believing,keep pretending
Dr. Seuss said-The More that you read,the more things you will know. The more that you learn,The More places You'll go.

What is your favorite place to visit? What do you like about that place?D: There are so many many places that I sure do love to visit,even when I sometimes travel to different states. It is hard for me to say what my favorite place to visit is because I just have so many,But I sure do loves visiting different cities and towns because each city and town are different in so many different kinds of ways and you see new places that you have never seen and you see new people,It is all just very Amazing and Awesome!!

What do you like to do when you are with your family?D: When I am with Family I love to go Bowling,I love to look Around in Big Malls,I Love to do Mini Golfing,Going out to eat,Go to the Movies,Go to the Zoo,go to different Fun Museums,and playing My Nintendo Wii and going to different shopping centers and I sure do love traveling with Family and I also love to cook with Family and Spend time with family to inspire and to encourage one another.

What kind of advice would you give to autistic kids who are attending school?D: My Advice would be-Always be yourself and stay true to yourself. Believe in Yourself always. Never,Ever give up on your Big Big Dreams. Never listen to what Mean things are said about you,Because you are very special and you have a great and amazing place in this world. You never have to fit in Because it is always very important to be your Amazing and Awesome self. You can make a Great and Amazing and Powerful Difference in this world and You can bring lots of Happiness and Joy to many others in Great and Amazing and Awesome ways.

Any special message for our community?D: Together with Great Teamwork and with Great Cooperation we can all make a Great and Amazing and Awesome Difference in this World and we can touch Lives and bring others Great Hope and Encouragement and Great Joy and Happiness. Big Big Dreams can and do come true,Never quit and never give up on them. You are all very very special and Amazing and Awesome and it is who you are on the Inside that always matters the very very most. Never listen to what the world or what Life says,Because all Great and Amazing and Awesome things are very very possible every single day.
