Inspiration behind app The founder, Ger Apeldoorn, has three children who have autism. Which inspired him and his friend from college Wouter Houweling to create RoutineFactory! Over the years the RoutineFactory team has worked with families and organizations to create a user-friendly and highly customizable app to boost the self-reliance and confidence of the individuals all of abilities.
Best Feature The app is full of features that benefit users of all abilities. But if we had a pick a favorite, it would be the personal assistants. Create personalized assistants to guide the individual through specific tasks, exercises, or situations. Assistants can be prompted at certain times or can be dispatched via scanning a QR code. (e.g.. Scanning a QR code on the dishwasher to be prompts step-by-step instructions or a checklist with photos of how to complete the task successfully.)
